How to Use Emulsion Paint for Protective Coating?
The surface must be thoroughly cleaned to remove all contaminants such as dust, curing compound residue, oil, and grease. Applying a primer before the coating is strongly recommended, as it penetrates the concrete pores and seals the substrate. The primer can be prepared on-site by diluting the same bitumen emulsion with 20% water.
